We’re excited to introduce the other owner of the Texas Wild Hogs Arena Football Team, Quinton Humphrey, Sr.
Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, Quinton has called the San Antonio area home since 2010. He’s a proud graduate of the University of Phoenix holding an undergrad degree, along with one master’s degree. He is also a disabled veteran that retired from the United States Army in 2012.
Quinton isn’t new to the football world. He has an extensive football background which ranges from youth football organizations, several semiprofessional football teams, a developmental arena football team, coaching at the professional level with the San Antonio Gunslingers in their inaugurated season of 2021 and also coaching football at the middle school level being the Offense Coordinator of a 6 man team.
When Quinton is not focusing on football, he is a devoted husband and father. He’s also a licensed minister and heavily involved in ministry at True Light Christian Fellowship here in San Antonio, Texas.
“I am beyond excited to bring the Texas Wild Hogs to San Antonio. The Wild Hogs name was chosen because I believe that if I wanted to bring a team here to San Antonio, I had to get into the mud and help create this team from the bottom.”
Officials and fouls
The seven officials on the field are each tasked with a different set of responsibilities:
- The referee is positioned behind and to the side of the offensive backs.
- The umpire is positioned in the defensive backfield, except in the NFL
